We're so excited to introduce you to St. Augustine's newest venue- Parlor Room Events! There have been a couple new venues pop up in town recently (you may have seen our earlier post on Two Son Farm), but there isn't another venue in St. Augustine that has the industrial chic look that the Parlor Room offers. On the back side of on of St. Augustine's favorite coffee shops, DOS Coffee & Wine and one of the yummiest bakeries too, Creme de la Cocoa, you'll find Parlor Room Events.
You're greeted by a quaint entrance that hints at the indoor decor- rich wood paneling, black paint and steel elements. Once inside, you find a sky-high ceiling with exposed steel beams, mid-century modern chandeliers, white painted concrete walls, exposed brick accents and a polished concrete floor. On the other side of a garage door style paneled rolling window (so neat), they have an adorable courtyard with string lighting that is just perfect for a few low-top cocktail tables or hi-boy tables for a standing cocktail reception. Once an old auto-repair shop, the owners Julie and Natalie have done an amazing job transforming the space into a truly beautiful venue!
We love the open floor plan of the space and although it favors the industrial look, it's actually quite neutral and will work beautifully for most themes and color combinations. Their capacity is 150, they provided rich wood farm tables and folding chairs have a built-in bar AND a catering kitchen. It's also budget friendly- hourly rental rates start at $150 and evening rentals start at $2,750. You're permitted to bring all of your own vendors (as long as they're licensed and insured) and they're currently flexible on the number of hours needed to set-up. The Parlor Room is a great option for rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions and other special celebrations. We're so excited to work our first event at this unique venue!
You can find their website here. Be sure to like them on Facebook and Instagram.
We snapped these shots from our phone- so please forgive the quality of the images! There is a reason we tell you to hire a good photographer! ;)
