If you're looking for a unique venue with the perfect mix or historic charm and modern amenities, The Treasury on The Plaza in downtown St. Augustine is the wedding venue for you.
The Treasury has several unique spaces within the building. They're outlined below:
The Grande Ballroom-1928 historic ballroom with towering ceilings and ornate columns
The Exchange Gallery - adjoining versatile space for cocktail receptions or buffet service
TheGrandeFoyer-welcomes guests to the venue and sets the tone for your event
The Plaza Lounge - bridal suite with bathroom, kitchenette, makeup stations, large mirrors and lounge seating area
The Banker's Lounge - groom's suite with bathroom, kitchenette, leather couches, and flat screen TV
The Vault Bar- 1928 marble and granite service bar
Grande Foyer Concierge Desk- unique multi-purpose space
One of the many things we love about this wedding venue is that they provide exclusive use for the day. In other words, they only host ONE couple per day. Which means less stress for set-up and a longer timeframe for prep- 10 total hours of rental easily allows for a 5-6 hour event + ample set-up time. Hooray! They also have a parking lot available for rent- this is a super convenient option to have when looking at downtown locations.
You are able to bring in the caterer of your choice. They provide bar service on-site, as well as LED accent and uplighting, in-laid marble dancefloor, Chivari Chairs, Round and Banquet Tables, as well as several other added accessory tables. Because it is such a beautiful, modern space, you have a TON of options of decor (and we happen to know all the best people to work with for that)!
And of course, we couldn't leave without getting a little extra expert advice from Treasury on the Plaza staff member, Marissa. We asked her why it's important for a couple to hire a professional wedding planner. She said " Hiring a professional wedding or event planner is one of the best investments that someone can make when planning a wedding or special event. Trusting a professional planner will ensure that your event runs smoothly, and will help you avoid many hiccups and headaches that can often happen during the event planning process. When it comes to creating and sticking to your budget, a wedding planner has the most experience understanding all of the costs that go into planning your special day. They will also help you prioritize what's most important, and match you with the vendors that will best be able to suit your needs.
